What can I say about Heather and David? They fit. If you met them, you’d understand. I think the maid of honor summed it up best, when she said during her speech that “he knew what you [Heather] needed.” The best man swore in his toast that David is a reserved sort with emotions held in check–but his eyes teared up when he saw her walking down the aisle. And the way they beamed at each other after the rings were on–it was as if they were the only two people in the vastness of the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist.
After the ceremony, we hit East 4th Street for some fun, urban photos, then slipped into Flannery’s for a drink to cool off from the heat. I got some great shots of the wedding party just hanging out in an empty (air conditioned!) room at Flannery’s. From there they hopped on Lolly the Trolley, and we went to Edgewater Park for a few lake shots. On the way I spotted some beautiful tall grass, so of course, we stopped to take some photos 🙂
I could go on and on about how fun this Cleveland wedding was. From the locations we went to for photos, to their choice of beer (Great Lakes–yeah!) at the reception, to the amazing city cake created by Wildflour, Heather and David not only celebrated their love and the beginning of a new chapter of their lives together, they also celebrated Cleveland. It was really wonderful to be a part of that.
