I’ve been looking forward to Liz and Shaw’s wedding ever since they came into town for their engagement session.
Well, that isn’t entirely true.
Liz’s mom met with me first, to make sure I was a good fit for her daughter’s wedding. I think I started looking forward to it then. If you met Liz’s mom, you’d understand. It’s hard to resist her blend of enthusiasm and warmth, topped off with a thousand watt smile. She knew she was building the perfect team of vendors for Liz’s vision of an understated, elegant wedding. She assured me that Liz was just like her, so I wasn’t surprised when Liz showed up at the studio and I instantly liked her. Liz is as effusive and warm as her mother, and wears haute couture like she was born to it, while Shaw is the epitome of calm, urban classy. We had a great time during their engagement session, so I knew the wedding would be fun as well.
They married in a sun-filled room in Severance Hall, then celebrated with an intimate reception downtown at Chinato– and yes, the food was out-of-this-world good. Here is a glimpse of their beautiful day…
I bet every florist hopes their clients have this reaction upon seeing their work 🙂
