Jenna and Randy’s Cleveland Botanical Garden wedding was one of the most intimate weddings I’ve ever photographed. That must seem impossible, considering they were standing in front of several hundred guests in the Sunken Garden …but Randy has this way of looking at Jenna, that seems to shut out the rest of the world. When he looks at her, you get the impression the rest of the world falls away, and it’s just the two of them. I didn’t have to try to be unobtrusive– I was invisible.
They celebrated Randy’s heritage by incorporating Lebanese wedding traditions into their day. Family and friends gathered at the groom’s house the morning of the wedding to kick off the celebration. It was an emotional gathering, with more than a few tears and celebratory trilling. They traveled caravan style to the Cleveland Botanical Garden for the wedding, and this processional culminated with an epic entrance to their reception at Windows on the River.
