Julie and Aram married each other in a lavishly beautiful wedding at Cleveland Marriott Downtown at Key Center.
I found Julie in her room at the Marriott, surrounded by her mother, friends and sister, getting pinned, curled, polished and sprayed in preparation for the big day. Aram was busy trying to learn how to tie a bowtie from YouTube.
Once everyone was ready, we headed outside for the first look. Aram waited with his back to the building as Julie walked up, veil and dress blowing in the wind. They exchanged a private, tearful, giggly hello, and then we headed for the Cleveland Cultural Gardens.
I love shooting in the Cultural Gardens. I send a silent thank you to the WPA and every group who maintains a garden every time I’m there. With its wrought iron fences, stone balustrades and statues, the Cultural Gardens are serene, ethereal and inviting. We took some magical photos in the Hungarian Garden.
We met up with the wedding party at the Marriott, and took some fun photos on the hilltop beside Cleveland’s new Medical Mart. From there, Julie and Aram signed their ketubah and prepared to walk down the aisle. It was a gorgeous, exciting day full of energy and love. Here are some of my favorite images…
