You know what’s romantic? Your soon-to-be-husband wiping a smudge off your shoes because right now, it’s a little complicated to bend over. Jolynn and Billy married each other at Botzum Farmstead on a Sunday afternoon. The day started off rainy–they signed their ketubah under umbrellas. Then, just as people were filing across the grass to find a seat, blue sky peeked out.
Everything about this wedding said Jolynn and Billy. There were so many special touches, from the wildflowers tucked into little glass vases, to the handmade sign directing people to the ceremony and reception, to the light and airy chuppah, this wedding was so absolutely personal. Every detail was beautiful, soft, and carefree.
The light was golden, the guests were happy, and the bride walked barefoot down the aisle. I loved it. Here are some of my favorites from this beautiful country wedding.
