I love photographing weddings at Tudor Arms Hotel in Cleveland, Ohio, especially when I have a bride who allows me to be as creative as I want. This bride was up for anything. She didn't even blink when I asked if she could lay on these steps while I stood on the landing above her and took a picture. I love the way her black sash picks up the black of the stairs. She was able to totally relax and lift her face to the light when I asked her to, which is what makes this a great image. My favorite weddings are the ones where I get to be creative and look at spaces differently; and this photo of a bride in a tulle dress lying on the steps of the Tudor Arms Hotel on her wedding day definitely qualifies.
